Daily Challenge

If you've been following me you've found out that each day I like to do something that isn't included in my daily routine. Sometimes these things revolve around family, others the home, and yet others my walk with Christ, but they are all with one purpose to keep pushing me forward.

Today's challenge springs from last night. My wonderfully pottytrained daughter decided to have an accident.... IN MY BED! Ahh gotta love kids:).  So today I am washing sheets, cleaning my mattress, etc. While I'm at it I will be flipping my mattress today so if you have a mattress that needs flipping get to it:)

Mommy Tips & Tricks

Are mornings hectic for you? Does your husband ever have to dress the kids and when you come home looks like they dressed themselves? Do you fosrget which clothes came in sets? Does your preschooler wish to pick out their clothes, but everyday looks like clash day?


I've learned to take the guesswork out of mornings by prematching outfits. It simplifies the start of the day and it allows my daughter(3) to be involved in picking her own clothes. As I fold my laundry I simply match outfits immediately before putting them away.

Daily Challenge

So today you may have a super long to-do list before the week starts, you may be visiting with friends to watch the big game, or just spending time with family since the game isn't until later. Whatever you are doing remember to take time for our Lord today. For some of you that may mean attending a service to worship with fellow believers, others it may mean diving into God's word and praying in the quiet, yet others perhaps a walk outside to enjoy the sun, the birds, and all God has created for us. However, you decide to spend your time today remember to jump start your week right by Thanking our Lord for all he has given us.
