Today is a "holiday" for us so I have a LITTLE extra time to do things. The last thing to make my bathroom sparkling (and probably my most dreaded) is to clean the walls/floor. Well,  my day very much got away from me today. I was twice as busy as usual and instead of having my husband home this evening  as usual he has been blessed with overtime. So while he was working 16/17  hour shift (God Bless him) I was doubling up on  things at home. So tonight my girls and I are curling up on the couch and enjoying some Phineas n Ferb before bed. Daily Challenge~ Spring Cleaning Challenge#14

Our bathroom is getting there and I am so excited to have 1 room down...only how many more to go right. Today we are going to clean  our sink and vanity. For us our kids toothbrushes do not fit in the toothbrush holder so they use the top drawer of our vanity. Needless to say it  gets kinda gunky fro time to time and I simply wipe it out, but today is time to tear everything out and give it a good scrubbing. Autism Awarenss

Today's is Autism Awareness Day, let us celebrate those who struggle with this and praise God for those kids  who don't.

I was blessed to have had several children with autism in my past so that I may have my own awareness raised.  Autism is real and effects 1 in 88 children! A good friend of my has a wonderful son who has autism and she has shared this:

Autism is a developmental disorder that affects the social portion of the brain. It is a spectrum. Some are totally non-verbal while others speak very well yet still struggle socially. If you have a small child and are not sure if he or she may be Autistic some signs are: refusal to make eye contact, no interest in playing with others, sensory issues- such as sounds, textures in foods or clothing, not wanting to be hugged.

As I got my shower last night I looked up and realized that although we cleaned most of our light fixtures already I never touched the fan in our bathroom. Wow, is it dustier than I would like to admit. So today's challenge is to clean the ceiling in the bathroom including any fans that may be included.
